Today I want to talk about workrooms. I am soon to get a new one, and it has made me reflect on some of the old ones. I have moved quite a bit - following my husband's work, or just getting a new house. It is fun to get a new workroom, but a lot of effort goes into setting it up. It is like getting a fabric store in a U-Haul. So, counting backwards (with number 1 being my up and coming workroom) here is our Number 3:
This was my 'Cutting Room' - so peaceful. I loved how the fabric looks on the walls.
This was our 'Embroidery and Packing Station'. It was on the second floor, so we had a lot of hauling to do, but it was so pleasant to look out the big windows to the pastures down below. We lived in the country - cow country to be exact.
The embroidery area:
The 'brain' of the business, and where Max did his homeschooling; this is the other side of the same room, we had a deck built out to the side of the second floor, and received deliveries here.
Now on to Workroom Number 3:
