It is halfway there!

I did it! I just DID it! I painted away my macho, knotty pine, deer wood, antler needing living room! In defense of nearly 99.99999999999999999% of all men, knotty pine can be very pretty - JUST NOT IN MY LIVING ROOM!! :)

So first, to FULLY appreciate the transformation, here WAS my living room:

NOW, see, even tiny homes can be pretty.....

A little note about the beautiful original painting above - my talented sister-in-law, Janis Wylie, is the artist. More of her work can be seen here: Janis Wylie Gallery

But it is not finished, this is a pretty shade of blue, called Sea Glass, that is going on the ceiling next week-end.

Love the white walls...it makes it look so much bigger but I love painted wood walls anyway.

This is a tiny space, that being said, it takes some serious talent to make small spaces look fantastic, and you pulled it off! This looks like photos from a magazine! Your sister in law is a wonderful artist, I come from a family of artists and have a great appreciation for paintings. Well done, my dear. Stopping over from Gina's, tami
