Yes, I think next week it will be 95 degrees out there, but for now it is quite pleasant. So, to make sure my son is TOTALLY embarrassed by his mother, I made this video about the sounds of summer:
“You are evil”, he just told me. he he

Love your post. Looking forward to the sounds of my screen door back at home in April
That...is a sound your kids will long for when they look back at their childhood...well done!
You're sooooo right! The memories of the screen door slamming!

Love it! And my son is ashamed of me no matter what I do!
I love this! Thank you so much for making this simply elegant summertime video! I'm imagining what comes next, Mom a bullfrog got loose in the house, Mom we need more lemonade, Mom, don't turn the sprinkler's off!

lol!!!! love it! yep sounds just like my childhood....except a scolding from my mother was usually the next sound after that of the screen door slamming. hahahaha
I can't believe folks are already mowing there! We woke up to several more inches of snow this morning...........ahhhh to be back in the good ol south.

I do remember the screen door slamming, but....the thing I remember and miss the most is my son and I bantering like you and your son. It was precious. He used to tell me I was evil, and we would laugh and laugh.
