Not everyone has to live small, it is a mindset:

We live in a fairly large house, and I would love to go smaller, but our house is paid for and it was built by my great-grandfather. It would just be easier to have less stuff.

I always love seeing these videos. Gives me such inspiration and hope. We have been a tiny house for three weeks now and I wish I could share with the world the positive feelings you can have when you don't let "stuff" weigh you down.

Audrey - you have a wonderful secret! I am so happy for you :) That is so amazing, what history. You are keeping it for him, your great-grandfather. It would make him so delighted to know his family was benefiting from his hard work. What a wonderful story. I am off to see your blog, I must know more about you. I hope you have something about your wonderful heritage!

toko baju muslim - I would LOVE to know more about you! I am glad you were looking for this, we must keep our lives simple, there is so much more to our lives than our mortgage - which I learned, coincidentally, means 'death pledge' in Latin (thank you tinyhousefamily.com).

my e-mail is debra at minkeebabygifts dot com, if you have time.

Cheers!

You summed it up perfectly: It truly is a mindset.

This was so fun to watch! Thank you for sharing this with us! There is something very sweet about little houses, especially the little cottages like you have! It is my dream to live in an old farmhouse, and often these are quite small! But we have learned there are benefits to living in a smaller home, it has really forced us to think about what we really need, and as time goes on we pare down more and more! {And it feels wonderful!}

I hope you are doing well, and that you have a great day! :)
Blessings,
Jenni
