Guess what I found! Photos of my ‘big’ house. I loved my pretty home, I did not love what it demanded of me :) So, here I go, down memory lane….
My sewing rooms and office;
Well, that was fun! I missed living next door to my parents, but other than that, we are perfectly content with our new living arrangement. Extra bonus: my parents have moved back from Colorado, and now live just 7 minutes from us! See, everything works out, no need to worry.
I am cultivating contentment.

Hi Deborah, I think your old home is so pretty! Although, I love your tiny cottage best of all! Congrats on showing it off on Nate's show. I love his Decorating Style. Hope you and yours are well, xoxo tami
Deborah, it's a beautiful home! I can understand, as when we're at the townhouse, there's so much space all around us (and walls with not a thing even on it). I think your work cottage is so incredible! Laura
Good on you! Contentment is priceless, especially for a wife's husband! Yippee for thee!
How big was your "big" house? It is very pretty. Love your cottage, too. :)
Cultivate away!!!!! :-) I see you carried your great taste an eye for decoration from your old house to your new lovely cottage!
Gorgeous! I can see that you brought you favorite bits of your old home with you though like the tile back splash that you have installed in your kitchen. The cabinet that now houses all of your pantry items. The wicker chair now painted a lovely shade of robins egg blue. Your old home lives in your new home! I think you son's new room is a lot cooler than his old one - it's more cozy. I love your blog and reading your posts. Have a wonderful weekend!
Are you parked in a rv park?I'm very interested in building a small home with my husband, because we have a large home and we're not happy with it.How are you hooked up to electricity and plumbing?
Hi Diana, no, we are in a mobile home park. It is pretty much one of a kind place in our area. Because of Walmart land is 20,000 to 30,000 dollars an acre, and our county has gotten big for its britches and now only allows you to put a home on 3-5 acre tracts. This made it very hard to find a space, but we did :) As for RV parks in our area, they have transient neighbors, who are not very invested in their surroundings.
Thanks, that does help.By the way, I love your home and love seeing the familiar books in your library area ;)
Oh - nice to meet you! my email is minkeebabygifts@gmail.com
